THIS is apropos Ikram Junaidi’s report ‘Anti-colour discrimination wants to change mindsets’ (April 21). It highlighted the bright mission of Fatima Lodhi. Her objective is to bring awareness against colour discrimination.

Furthermore, to discriminate on the basis of colour, sect, nationality, etc., seems a negative act.

Discrimination creates hatred against the ones who discriminate. Also, it causes victims to suffer psychological disorders. Particularly, colour discrimination makes no sense at all. What counts is character-building.

To sum it up, never change your originality for the sake of others. No one can play your role better than you.
